CaPoWriMo 3.0
Time to do our third CaPoWriMo. (See this 2010 post for more history.)
We'd like you to commit to writing 30 poems this April. Post them wherever you like. Link back here if you want to, or to NaoPoWriMo if you prefer. You could post and then tweet (hashtag #CaPoWriMo) or just do it the old fashioned way and scribble lines down in a note book.
Just write.
If that's enough for you, go ahead, post, and happy writing!
But if, like many of us, you need a prompt or an exercise to give you direction and momentum, read on.
We — or rather, Annie — have 30 mini-exercises for you.
We'll be posting them here, one each day. They're scheduled to auto-post at midnight, one a day, so keep coming back here for the newest prompt.
You can come back, read the prompt for the day, then go away and write a poem or three. (And if you like, come post a link (or the whole poem if you choose) in the comments of the post that prompted it.
Or if you want more choice in your hands, you could go to our Facebook group, where we'll be posting all the prompts all at once in a doc, and choose the ones you like, when you like. Again, you can, if you like, post the poems, or links to them, in reply to the discussion threads that prompted them.
All clear?
Go!
