Inspired!

held my breath for a minute,
was there more?

of her life?

like tendrils,
she crawled upon my chest,
words, nails, poetry.

my dreams
are too endless
she exhaled.

and some of that ether
mingled in,
some wafted away
as air.

what remained
i captured.

held my breath
for a minute,

was there more?

(I borrowed a stanza from Manisha Lakhe's poem For you which appeared in this blog. Had to write this poem, my first in some months)

Beautiful...the passion and the inspiration shine through...especially liked the third stanza (if I can call it that).
