There's an issue of some importance that i've tabled for discussion on
my blog and more specifically, on
Chien(ne)s Sans Frontières. It deals with bloggers and their freedom of expression. Certainly not a burning concern on this blog, but
as Martin Niemöller said,
When the Nazis arrested the Communists,
I said nothing;
after all, I was not a Communist.
When they locked up the Social Democrats,
I said nothing;
after all, I was not a Social Democrat.
When they arrested the trade unionists,
I said nothing;
after all, I was not a trade unionist.
When they arrested the Jews,
I said nothing;
after all, I was not a Jew.
When they arrested me,
there was no longer anyone who could protest.
Update 1. There's an online petition which you can
read here, and if you agree,
