A Weather-beaten Face...

Each wave creates –
A layer of sand.

Another wave adds –
To the burden of the land.

Each memory creates –
A smile on the lip,
A tear in the eye.

Each memory adds –
To the wrinkle nearby!

Hi Praneeta,
Very wry humour -welcome to the middle-aged club. Do not pluck out any silver hair...they will spread on.
Good poem, tho, must say.
Cheers!

This poem reads so much like an epitaph. It's bare simplicity and beautiful imagery are extremely attractive. Absolutely wonderful!
